The Sanskrit word Yoga means Union, an entryway to balancing the spiritual, mental and physical aspects of the being. This is a total personal growth program and it is very ancient. This age old science and philosophy treats the person by looking at him as a whole so there is the physical, the mental and the spiritual that comes up for making better and strengthening.

A Yogi is a male who practices yoga and a Yogini is a female practitioner. The practice is considered to be an applied science that deals with mind and body and it is one among the six famous orthodox systems of Indian philosophy. It is a vast subject and contains a great deal more than just sitting around in a lotus position just chanting along in unison.

Back problems and others arising from bad posture can be cured by yoga and it also reduces stress. People with cancer use it a lot as it makes them feel good. Many experts recommend the morning before breakfast as the best time for practicing it.

Sahaja Yoga: Here the basic component is ‘Self Realization’ (kundalini awakening) that happens within every individual. Moksha hot yoga is an exclusive method which has the combination of healing yoga and the basics of conventional yoga and this is practiced in an especially heated room.

Yoga has become extremely popular both among adults and children. Yoga has become the fastest growing and most popular exercise trend of all because it isn’t something that is necessarily done to you as it is something that you do. It is a great activity during pregnancy, being moderate but allowing for the buildup of flexibility and endurance.
